H.G. Wells' The First Men in the Moon; 4 x copper printing plates
Sid Marantz CollectionHeavy copper printing plates for the Classics Illustrated adaptation of H.G. Wells' The First Men in the Moon. One plate for each color printed, red, blue, yellow, and black. These date from no later than 1965 which was the last time this cover was used. The plates measure 8.25" x 11.5" and are in very good condition, there is some light oxidation on two of the plates.
