Sid Marantz CollectionBeautiful preliminary painting for the cover to the 1969 reprint of the Classics Illustrated adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Moritz created several prelims of different ideas of what the cover would be, this is one of the rejected ideas. Mixed media. Art is in excellent condition, the drawing has been affixed to a larger 11" x 14" board. Signed by Moritz.
