Classic Burma Sunday strip!Stunning Terry Sunday strip from June 26, 1938, part of the 'War Profiteer' storyline. This strip features a classic panel of Burma taking shelter from Chinese shelling as well as Terry, Connie, and Big Stoop rescuing Pat who is trapped under rubble from the shelling. Superb example of one of the 20th century's greatest comic strips, Caniff is at the top of his form here, creating a strip that is as innovative as it is timeless. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Boldly signed by Caniff under the title paste-up.
