DESCRIPTION
Bill Wray painting; page 27 hand painted production colors; 1988; image size 8" x 12.5"Great page from Jim Starlin and Bernie Wrightson's classic Batman tale, wonderfully hand painted in living color by Wray. Painted over a blueline printout on bristol board of Wrightson's artwork, with an acetate overlay of the lineart. This is the art that was used to create the final printed book. Mixed media. Art is in excellent condition.
Includes original manila envelope with a DC label signed by Wray.

Comics artist and fine artist, Wray worked on the Ren & Stimpy show for TV, and had a long running series in Mad Magazine that lasted over 100 issues named Monroe.
