Few comics have had the impact of 1975’s Giant-Size X-Men #1. Len Wein and Dave Cockrum introduced a whole new team of mutant heroes to take over Marvel’s long-running title, with the characters debuting here before taking over the regular X-Men title with issue #94. Numerous X-titles would continue to prosper over the decades, and it was no surprise when the super team was chosen to launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Investors can count on a bright big-screen future for the X-Men, as well. Fans have been thrilled to see Marvel Studios retrieving the rights to the beloved characters, with Deadpool and Wolverine already one of the most anticipated films of 2024. To this day, the mutant team and their spin-offs remain amongst Marvel's best-selling books.
