Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #133, #135-139, #141-148 — Jack Kirby didn't want to put anyone out of a job when the comics legend joined DC in the '70s, so he asked to take over the company's worst-selling title. That's how Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen became the unlikely launching pad for Kirby's ambitious Fourth World concept. This lot starts with Kirby's first Olsen comic (reintroducing the Newsboy Legion and w/ the 1st app. of media mogul Morgan Edge). Issue #235 features the 2nd app. of Darkseid, with the rest of the series featuring more wild turns, including guest apps. by Don Rickles!
