DESCRIPTION
A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THIS ITEM AT CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION
Trevor Von Eeden pencils/Joe Rubinstein inks; nearly complete 22 page unpublished story; c. 1990s; image size 10.5" x 15.5" ea.21 out of 23 pages from an unpublished Batman inventory story, the two missing pages are represented by photocopies of each page (page 1 and page 19). there are two each of pages numbered 9, 13, and 14, and no page numbers 16 and 17, it does not appear that any pages are missing, just that the numbering was not final. Inking credited to Rubenstein based on the penciled in credit on page two. Von Eeden famously was the first choice to illustrate Frank Miller's Batman: Year One, but for a scheduling conflict that book might have been wildly different, there's an alternate universe somewhere that was treated to what would have been a different, but likely still beautiful series. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Von Eeden on each page, signed by Von Eeden and Engleheart on the two photocopy pages.

Josef "Joe" Rubinstein is a comic book artist and inker, most associated with inking Marvel Comics' The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and the 1982 four-issue Wolverine miniseries by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. He is also known to be the one to have given artist Art Adams his first professional work.
Trevor Von Eeden is a Guyanese-American comic book artist who's famous for his work on DC's Black Lightning and even made a cameo appearance in the live action show based on the comic. Trevor's other notable works include, Batman, Green Arrow, and Marvel's Power-man and Iron Fist.
