Hulk transformation sequence!

The Hulk, as a character, is defined by the duality of Bruce Banner and the monster within him. Transformation sequences like this one showcase the connection between Banner and the Hulk, as well as the profound differences between the two. This page, executed brilliantly by quintessential Hulk artist Trimpe and inker Adkins, focuses on Hulk's hand during the transformation to highlight the tension and suspense before the final cut to the full Hulk figure. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
