Jack Kirby and Chic Stone continue their admirable work on this young series, as the X-Men encounter a being known as the Stranger. First spotted walking in the sky, the Stranger meets Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and a shaky alliance is formed, meanwhile the X-Men are searching for this odd newcomer around the city. It turns out the Stranger is a powerful being from outer space that is planning to subjugate the Earth, he takes Magneto and Toad captive and disappears, as the X-Men recover from this event Cerebro warns them that there is a powerful mutant threat headed straight for their headquarters.
