Red Clown was founded and run by businessman Bo Lundquist and art director and animator Robert "Bob" Benson in the early 1970s. Benson, originally from England. The release lasted only between 1973 and 1975, with a range that mainly consisted of genres such as adventure, horror and superheroes. A clear characteristic of Red Clown's releases is the red/black logo that adorns almost all of the publisher's covers.
Gravmannen (the man from the grave) originally known as Tales of the Zombie was published between 1974 and 1975. Cover image has been used by Swedish crust punk band Anti Cimex!
