DESCRIPTION
A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THIS ITEM AT CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION
Jim Aparo pencils/Mike DeCarlo inks; page 2; 1988; image size 10" x 15"
1st appearance of the KGBeast!

Page two from chapter one of the classic Jim Starlin written 'Ten Nights of the Beast!' which introduced the KGBeast (Anatoli Knyazev/The Beast, top secret Russian KGB elite assassin, nicknamed KGBeast by the CIA later in the story arc) into the pantheon of Batman villains. This page features the very first time we see the KGBeast (seen here mostly obscured by shadow) in action, displaying just a fraction of his immense strength. Expertly laid out and drawn by Aparo, bringing his decades of experience to the story. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
