Movie adaptation; 1st Robocop in comics!

Robocop visits Alex Murphy's grave as his memories begin to return, while new OCP vice president Bob Morton gets an unwelcome visit from Clarence Boddicker. From Marvel Comics' adaptation of the hit film, representing the first time Robocop appears in comics. Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition, some of the zip-a-tone has yellowed over time.

Artists Information

Javier Saltares began his career in the mid-1980s working on 'Astro-Busters' and 'The Roosevelt Project' for DC Comics. He then moved over to Marvel Comics, where he contributed to Marvel Universe, and to titles like 'Iron Man', 'Nightmask', 'Spitfire', 'Wonder Man', and the comic adaptation for the 'Robocop' movie. In 1990s, he additionally returned to DC with contributions to 'Catwoman' and 'Flash'. In this decade, he was a regular on Marvel's 'Ghost Rider', a title to which he returned in 2006. Saltares was also present at Dark Horse, with a regular run on 'X' and the miniseries 'Aliens vs. Predator: Duel'.

Tony DeZuniga is a Filipino comic book artist who's best known for his work with DC comics and co-creation of the character Jonah Hex. Tony is also known as the first Filipino comic artist to be accepted by American publishers, which paved the way for future artists from the Philippines.

After graduating from the High School of Art & Design, Kupperberg worked for Neal Adams which helped him land a job at Marvel where he illustrated various titles from What If? to Spider-Ham and Obnoxio the Clown vs. the X-Men, he later moved to DC and worked on Justice League of America and Fury of Firestorm among others.
