John Bolton art; page 57; 2003; image size 8.75" x 13.5"Beautiful fully painted page by Bolton, the splash image is painted on it's own, the inset panels are all on an acetate overlay over the full image, each panel is an original painting. The splash image is an exceptional example of Batman by Bolton, moody and delightful. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Bolton on the full splash, the signature is obscured by the overlay panels.

John Bolton is a British comic book artist and illustrator most known for his dense, painted style, which often verges on photorealism. He was one of the first British artists to come to work in the American comics industry. Notable work includes Epic Illustrated, X-Men Classics, Books of Magic, Batman: Man-Bat, and Batman/Joker: Switch.
