Dr. Henry Pym made his first appearance in Tales to Astonish #27, but that was when he was simply a scientist who'd shrunk himself down to dangerous ant territory. He finally made a comeback in costume as Ant-Man in Tales to Astonish #35. This classic issue then established Ant-Man as a proper part of the Marvel Universe. In fact, the Russians are already aware that there's a new superhero on the block. This would lead to Ant-Man meeting the threat of superspy Comrade X. Thanks to the enduring success of Marvel's mini-hero, the villain would even return 26 years later to torment Pym again!

Stan Lee signed a particularly impressive 7.5 of this issue as it joined CGC's authorized Signature Series. The pristine white pages of this beautiful book are matched by a colorful cover featuring a sharp focal point for Ant-Man's 2nd appearance as a costumed superhero!
