Bruno Premiani pencils/Ray Burnley inks; Tomahawk page 3; 1954; image size 13" x 18"Great Tomahawk page, from the story 'The Yankee Schoolmaster!', illustrated by the great Premiani, who would go on to illustrate the adventures of the Doom Patrol in the 1960s. This page features Tomahawk and Dan Hunter being attacked by a group of natives who kidnap their schoolmaster companion. From the second to last issue before the introduction of the Comics Code, much in this story would not have passed code approval. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
