Jae Lee pencils; page 1; 2013; image size 9" x 14"Stunning opening splash by Lee, worthy of Alan Moore's seminal work that it's based on. Lee gives us a stoic, focused Ozymandias, in his lair surrounded by screens, reminiscent of many scenes in the original Watchmen, the majority of the background was blurred in the printed book, making this the only way to see all of the intricate details in the drawing. This page was printed directly from these pencils. Pencil on board. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Lee.
