Rick confronts Hershel about the "Dead Ones"In this page from Robert Kirkman's groundbreaking series we have a heated argument between Rick and Hershel concerning the nature of the pandemic they are just learning to cope with. Charlie Adlard, who took over for Tony Moore as artist for the series in issue #7, masterfully illustrated the page. Rick and Hershel stand apart, both with obvious belief in their convictions. Series creator, Robert Kirkman, wanted to hire Adlard as Moore's replacement but was afraid he could not convince the incredibly gifted and popular artist to work on the book. The stars aligned for Kirkman, and he got his wish, and the rest is comic book history. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Adlard.
