Ruben Blades CopyMystic Comics published by Timely Comics (later to become Marvel) was another thrilling entry into the imprint's anthology format, the fourth issue, like the three that came before it, featured content culled from Funnies, Inc. or Harry "A" Chesler's studio's publications. The series did not feature any star in particular, but rather went for a "kitchen sink" approach, which was the style at the time. This particular issue has the distinction of featuring a cover by the artist who is generally considered to be the man who defined the look of the Golden Age, Alex Schomburg. The book also bore a strong connection to current events, as one can see, the gigantic Hercules is shown saving President Franklin D. Roosevelt from an assassination attempt.
