Ruben Blades CopyPriced at a staggering fifteen cents, the anthology known as Comic Cavalcade was crammed with 96 pages of superhero exploits, featuring three of DC’s most popular Golden Age stars, Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman all shared the pages of this omnibus, and ofttimes in this title, their stories were penned by writers other than the character’s creators, a bit of an anomaly for the period. This premiere issue features not only the three popular crimefighters previously mentioned, but a fun Wildcat story and a Black Pirate adventure. With artistic contributions from H.G. Peter, Shelly Moldoff, Irwin Hasen, and a classic Frank Harry cover, this book is a veritable smorgasbord of GA goodies.
