What if Wolverine was an Agent of SHIELD?Few artists had as much of an impact on Marvel comics in the late 1980s and early 1990s than Liefeld. His undeniable style and bold storytelling immediately made an impact on the X-Men line that still resonates with readers to this day. Valentino's layouts were on a separate page, this piece of art is 100% Liefeld and Williams. This page, from the What If? series, features Wolverine as an agent of SHIELD teaming up with Nick Fury to take on waves of Hydra soldiers. Wolverine would later join SHIELD for real in the memorable story by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., no doubt inspired by this issue. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Liefeld.
There is an included overlay with elements of panel 2 that were printed in blue.
