A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THIS ITEM AT CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION
Travis Charest pencils and inks; page 11; 1996; image size 9: x 14.25"Absolutely stunning page by Charest, from his final issue before leaving to create what might be his masterpiece, WildC.A.T.S./X-Men: The Golden Age. This page, penciled and inked by Travis, and featuring several great shots of Grifter, shows him working at an incredibly high level, the amount of detail he put into the drawing is otherworldly, and needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The issue also features the writing of the legendary Alan Moore in what would be a productive period for him working with several of the original Image creators. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Charest.
The published page is shown for reference, there was some adjustment made to the page before publication, the backgrounds in panels one and two were added later and not drawn by Charest, and the central figures in the second panel were replaced.
