Robin vs. Joker!This cover from superstar writer Grant Morrison's character-defining Batman epic features Quitely's take on the iconic crowbar beating from the classic 'Death in the Family' storyline, as Damian Wayne turns the tables on the Joker, in what is also the first published drawing of the character by Quitely and the only time he's featured on a cover during Morrison's run. DC liked this image so much that it was used three times, on Batman and Robin #13, Batman and Robin vol. 3: Batman and Robin must Die! and, The Legend of Batman vol. 45. Tightly rendered in pencil, this cover was published directly from this page, and was not inked before it was colored and sent to print. Pencil on bristol board. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Quitely in the image.
