Chris Samnee pencils and inks; illustration; 2017; image size 8.5" x 6"Beautiful illustration by Samnee, from his 2017 Batober series of drawings, the first year he treated everyone with a month of Batman drawings for his take on the yearly inktober tradition. Every year, during the month of October, Samnee creates a new Batman illustration based on a series of keywords, this was the 11th of 31 drawings, based on the word 'Run'. Samnee is one of comics' great designers, his compositions and linework are exceptional, and this piece is no exception. The Dynamic Duo leap off of the page, depicted as only Samnee can. Samnee has not sold any of his finished interior pages for some time, making these some of the only finished pieces available on the market. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed and dated by Samnee.

Award winning artist, worked for independent publishers AC and Vertigo, started working on Daredevil at Marvel and then worked on Darkest Knight at DC. Back at Marvel he worked on Thor: The Mighty Avenger and is still at the House of Ideas.
