Artist Information
James E. Lyle is an American comic artist, who broke through in the 1980s with his alternative comic 'Escape to the Stars'. Lyle continued to publish in the alternative scene during the 1980s, working on titles like 'T.H.U.N.D.E.R.', 'The Last of the New Wave Riders' and 'Fright Night'. In the 1990s, he went to work for Cult Press on titles like 'Bonehead' and 'DoorMan' (with Mike Leonard). 'DoorMan' moved over to Caliber Comics in 1995. At Caliber, Lyle and Leonard also cooperated on stories for the 'Negative Burn' anthology.
