DESCRIPTION
Group lot of 11 issues: #111-212 (1967-68); includes final issue "Death of the Doom Patrol"; Average grade: 5.0; Estimated value: $200+ Doom Patrol ran for four seasons from 2019 to 2023, starting on DC Universe before moving over to HBO Max. Jeremy Carver put it together based on some of DC Comics zaniest heroes. You've got Jane played by Diane Guerrero, Rita Farr by April Bowlby, Vic Stone by Joivan Wade, Larry Trainor by both Matt Bomer and Matthew Zuk, Cliff Steele by Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan, the Chief by Timothy Dalton, and Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge - they're all part of this messed-up superhero team.
The show kicked off on February 15, 2019, just on DC Universe at first. By season two, they were dropping episodes on both DC Universe and HBO Max at the same time, starting June 25, 2020. Then for season three, they went HBO Max only, premiering September 23, 2021. The final season started December 8, 2022, and wrapped up almost a year later on November 9, 2023.
