John Buscema pencils and inks; page 43; 1985; image size 10" x 15"Thor and Mephisto, penciled and inked by the legendary Buscema. The page, which opens with classic images of Thor and Mephisto, who shows a vision of a previous battle between Thor and Ulik with unfortunate results. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
The figure of Ulik in panel four is a photostat with some additional drawing, underneath the stat is is a covered up image of Thor.

'The Michelangelo of comics.' Buscema was one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s heyday, best known for his run on the The Avengers and The Silver Surfer, and for over 200 stories featuring the sword-and-sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian. In addition, he penciled at least one issue of nearly every major Marvel title, including long runs on two of the company's top books, Fantastic Four and Thor.
