Journey Into Mystery #85 is more than just the 3rd appearance of Thor. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby made even more comics history by introducing Loki (and Odin, and all of Asgard) into the Marvel Universe. Few readers, however, could anticipate that the loathsome Loki would become one of the most beloved antiheroes in Marvel fandom. Today, the God of Mischief has been rehabilitated into a true fan favorite, going from big-screen villain to the star of his own critically praised Disney+ streaming series.
