The character was the brainchild of Joe Orlando and Wally Wood, whose contributions to the Golden Age sci-fi are the stuff of legend. While pre-code horror books are seeing a great deal of advancement in price, sci-fi comics from the same era are yet to realize their full potential, so investing in these treasures of yesteryear is a savvy, prescient move.
