Before Flex Mentallo, New X-Men, or All-Star Superman, this story, serialized in Dark Horse Presents, was his introduction to US readers, showcasing his unmistakable detail and thin line inking that would be the hallmarks of his career. Quitley no longer inks his work, having it reproduced directly from his pencils, pages that he inked himself are scarce, and highly sought after by collectors. Blackheart tells the tale of a blues guitarist, who makes a deal witht he devil at the crossroads and becomes an avenging vigilante. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Quitely.
