Captain America Comics #20 features a classic cover by Syd Shores. The brutal WWII action of the cover gets more fantastical with "The Spawn of the Witch Queen," which has Cap and Bucky battling mummies in Egypt. (There's also a mention of the Egyptian god Anubis decades before he'd go on to battle the Son of Satan.)
Then the pair is off to India for "The Fiend That Was the Fakir!" before landing in London for more supernatural weirdness as they battle "The Clammy Things." That leaves the Sub-Mariner to fight proper Nazis who are planning to invade New York City with giant killer sea-creatures in "Giants of the Deep!" And for further Golden Age greatness, Stan Lee lands a story of the Secret Stamp taking on a brutal loan shark in "The Case of the Killer Shylock."
