lt tn/ow; #0018338001; ULTRA RARE MEXICAN EDITION -- THE HISTORIC FIRST FOREIGN EDITION OF A MARVEL COMIC! Click through for more info!
Kirby cvr/art; origin & 1st app. Fantastic Four; 1st Mole Man; the Marvel Age begins here (11/61) Comic Book Impact rating of 10 (CBI)
This is the book that launched the Silver Age of Comics and the Marvel Age of storytelling, courtesy of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's extraordinary vision. This classic collectible also has the thrilling origin story providing the first appearances of Mister Fantastic, the Thing, Human Torch, and Invisible Girl--along with the debut of the tragically evil Mole Man. The pop-culture passion for Fantastic Four is now set to get even more heated, with excitement building over Marvel Studios finally recovering the film rights to the company's first super team!

This historic book is the first-ever foreign edition of a Marvel Comic! One of the most unusual and exciting Marvel collectibles we've seen in some time, only one other (lower-grade) copy of this book is known to exist, and this is the highest graded copy of this rarity in the census! This amazing piece of Marvel history marks the first time comics fans outside of the US were able to meet and discover the Marvel stable of characters, and is a truly one-of-a-kind key, sure to appeal to any Marvel fan and FF fanatic! Viva Marvel! Viva El Fantastico Cuatro! Viva Mexico!

Artist Information

Jack Kirby is called 'The King of Comics' for a reason, during his career that spanned six decades he gave us many of the most iconic characters the medium would ever see. From his introduction of Captain America at the height of World War II it was clear he wasn't your ordinary comics artist. But it was his creative explosion at Marvel Comics in the 1960's that cemented his legacy, over a short period of time Kirby would give us The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Hulk, The X-Men, Thor, Ant-Man and Nick Fury just to name a few. Kirby would then go to DC and create his Fourth World, introducing Darkseid, Mister Miracle, The New Gods and a host of cosmic supporting players. Long live The King.
