Unpublished cover to Atom-Age Combat #6 by Doug Wildey. Image is 14"x14" on 14.5"x20" board.Doug Wildey, co-creator of the uber-popular Johnny Quest animated series from the 60s worked in comics and created this superb war cover!
This was to be the last issue of the run but unfortunately the series was canceled before it could be published. Bombs dropping, jets race by, and a call for aerial support. Complete on sturdy board. Wildey's intense eye for detail and fine line work and cross hatching technique are evident in this cover.
