From 1984, here is the preliminary artwork for the 1st issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Drawn and signed on the back by Turtle co-creator Peter Laird, this is a pivotal page in the origin issue when Master Splinter names his proteges after high-renaissance painters Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello! Art is drawn on an 8.5"x11.75" piece of sketch paper.
