1989 Batman 1-Sheet Prototype. 21" x 27"
Michael Uslan CollectionThis prototype poster was among the first promotional images created for the blockbuster 1989 Tim Burton film, boasting all of the ingredients that made the film a worldwide phenomenon: Jack Nicholson's unforgettable performance as the Joker, the glamour of Kim Basinger, Michael Keaton's brooding and haunted Bruce Wayne, and, of course, the first cinematic attempt to portray the full grandeur and power of one of superherodom's most famous of costumes. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, the only one in the world, saved by Michael Uslan as a memento of his long, tireless efforts in bringing Bob Kane's monumental creation to the big screen with respect and affection. One of the most exciting and historic pieces in this amazing collection.
Poster is 27" x 21" and is mounted on foam core board. It is in good condition and has several small pieces out around the edges.
