This trend hung on stubbornly for quite some time after the first wave of superheroes, as is evidenced by this post-Supes entry from Hillman periodicals -- though note the futuristic villain is getting aggro with a more street-smart thug type, as though bets are being carefully hedged. This is the highest graded copy of this scarce book.
