Pg. 1; Sal Buscema pencils, Mike Esposito inks; 11" x 16"Back in the 1970s, after scrounging an extra quarter or dime out of the sofa cushions, us kids ran to the local candy store to get our "comic fix". Buying a Marvel Team-Up was the most economical way to get as much "comic smack" as possible. The House of Ideas' used this title as a clever way to promote its expanding universe by pairing their A-list character Spider-Man alongside new heroes or struggling franchises.
Issue 46 from the time travel saga "Future Shock: Part II" features Spidey in Times Square in the dreaded dystopian year of 1980. With the Web-slinger battling Bronze Age anti-hero, Deathlok, The Demolisher, who's scouring NYC for muties and cannibals. This is a gorgeous full-splash page by 1970s penciler extraordinaire Sal Buscema and inker Mike Esposito.
Art is in excellent condition.
