Freelance artist-formerly for Marvel and DC comics, primarily an inker, but has done coloring and character design. Worked with pencillers Ron Lim, Bryan Hitch, Todd MacFarlane, and Eric Larson.
Purves was assigned to a run on 'The Incredible Hulk' with Peter David. Purves worked on 'The Hulk' for nineteen issues and then moved on to other artistic fields.
