Red Skull Cosmic Cube coverFinal issues of the series - "Dark Victory" Part 2 of 2. Script by Peter Gillis. Art by Arvell Jones (breakdowns) and Bruce Patterson (finishes). Cover by Keith Pollard and Bruce Patterson. Despite the best efforts of the Israeli prisoners, the Red Skull's plan to create another cosmic cube continues! The sinister skull has gathered Arnim Zola, the Hate Monger (aka Adolf Hitler incognito), and the top A.I.M. scientist to assist in constructing the cube! But unbeknownst to the Red Skull, two things are working against him! First, one of the Shin Bet commandos has escaped and alerted SHIELD! And second, the Hate Monger has his own scheme for controlling the cube! When SHIELD's fighter jets attack the skull's island base, chaos erupts! And the situation deteriorates into every man for himself! Who will end up with the cosmic cube? The Red Skull, the Hate Monger, SHIELD, or no one at all? Flashback cameos by Captain America, Captain Marvel, Drax the Destroyer, Iron Man, Modok, and Thanos to recap the history of the first cosmic cube. Flashback cameos by Toro and the original Human Torch to explain how Hitler became the Hate Monger.

Bruce Patterson is an American comic book artist who began working for DC comics as an inker and letterer for Marvel in the late 70s. Over the next two decades, he continued his work with the two major publishing houses as an inker/letterer and sometimes penciler, occasionally doing cover art. Bruce's most notable works include Action Comics and the Invincible Iron Man.
