DESCRIPTION
Joe Kubert pencils and inks; cover; 1974; image size 10" x 15"Spectacular War cover by on of the masters of the genre. Kubert's stylized inking perfectly captures the chaos and horror of military battle. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition, one of the text balloon paste-ups is missing, the rest of the paste-ups are all original. Signed by Kubert.

Joe Kubert (Sept. 18, 1926 - Aug. 12, 2012) began his career at the age of 13. He was also an art teacher and founder of The Kubert School. He is best known for his work on the characters like Sgt. Rock, Hawkman, Tor, Son of Sinbad and the Viking Prince.
