TWD artist Charlie Adlard is really flexing his artistic muscle in the top panel, the physically imposing Negan dominates the frame and helpless Mark almost seems in too much shock to feel the burning sensations on his face. Meanwhile, Carl looks on in horror as the smoke and scent of burning flesh waft across the frame, to those uninitiated in the ways of the Saviors this barbaric ritual is a horrific illustration of the difference between Rick Grimes and the brutal Negan.
