DESCRIPTION
Russ Manning pencils and inks; pg. 17; c. 1972; image size 11.25" x 16.25"Beautiful page from Russ Manning's "Tarzan and the Beast Master," published exclusively for the European market. The Waziri tribe warns Tarzan that the road crew is invading their territory. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
In addition to an extensive run drawing Gold Key's Tarzan series and the Tarzan newspaper strip Manning brought his crisp line and uniquely stylized draftsmanship to memorable runs on Magnus Robot Fighter (which he created) and Korak. Manning also had a stint drawing the Star Wars newspaper strip in the late 70's.
