Russ Manning art; 07/27/80; image size 22.5" x 15""The Frozen World of Ota" C3PO frees Princess Leia from an electrified net during an encounter with Snogars, while Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett are rushed by a Snogar horde. Boba Fett destroys their heat generators, which causes the attackers to flee in a panic. The trio then run into Mole, who is sliding Chewbacca into a mysterious cylindrical contraption. Full of classic Sunday serial adventure and great fantasy imagery, this story was perfect for Manning's slick, decisive style of action storytelling.
