This issue features almost exclusively western-themed content; a bunch of short two-page cowboy funnies, a couple of western adventure tales, and even a text piece or two thrown in for good measure. The slapstick cover illustration by Jack Cole offers an apt portrayal of what is on offer in the pages of this relic of the earliest days of the comic book industry.Graded as Good by CGC, this book is one of only four examples on the census, making this comic extremely rare, and any copy that surfaces will be of great interest to collectors of western comics and early Golden Age comics in general. Retaining strong hues, and presenting as higher than its grade this book is sure to be one to watch in this auction that is simply stuffed with hard-to-find and interesting lots.
