Artists Information
Joseph Brozowski, who uses the pseudonym Joe James Birch or simply J.J. Birch, began his career in the mid-1970s, drawing for Charlton's 'Doomsday+1', 'Emergency' and 'Six Million Dollar Man'. He also drew 'Crusty Bunkers' for the Comics Studio and worked on the 'Secret Agent Corrigan' daily for King Features in 1977. He drew for Western's mystery and occult titles, including 'Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery' and worked on a lot of Marvel and DC titles during the 1980s and 1990s. Among his credits are 'Star Trek', 'Moon Knight', 'Hulk 2099', 'Iron Man' and 'Foolkiller' for Marvel, and 'Firestorm', 'Green Arrow', 'Catwoman' and mystery titles for DC. Additonal credits are 'Vampirella' for Harris Publications, and 'Hardware' and 'Xombi' for Milestone Press.
Bob Smith is an American comic book artist, working almost exclusively for DC, inking numerous titles, including Black Canary, Detective Comics, Green Lantern, The Huntress, Secrets of Haunted House, Star Trek, and Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe, while also working on DC style guides and other items for Joe Orlando's Special Projects Department. He has also inked numerous titles for Archie Comics.
Richard "Dick" Giordano was an American comics artist and editor whose long and prosperous career included introducing Charlton Comics' "Action Heroes" stable of superheroes and serving as executive editor of DC Comics. He worked on a wide range of titles over the years, including Batman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow, Teen Titans, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Action Comics among countless others. His style was very much in the Neal Adams mold, making him a popular go-to artist in the 70s and 80s.
