DESCRIPTION
Greg Hildebrandt pencils and signed; 2018; 12" x 18"Greg Hildebrandt is making magic with this playful sketch of DC's Zatanna! A talented illusionist, a powerful magician, and a skilled combatant, Zatanna has got the full package! Having a background as a stage magician, Zatanna is often seen wearing a magician's outfit that includes fishnet stockings and sexy heels. In Hildebrandt's drawing she is certainly putting on a show!

Greg Hilderbrandt was an American painter who, with twin brother Tim collectively worked on numerous comic books, movie posters and trading cards for many years until Tim's unfortunate passing in 2006, including The Lord of the Rings calendar illustrations, Star Wars movie posters and Magic the Gathering trading cards. Individually, Greg contributed to the art for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's albums and concert merchandise. He also provided the cover art for Black Sabbath's 1981 Mob Rules album, He started his American Beauties pinup art in 1999. In 2019, it was announced that Greg would provide cover art for a new series of Star Trek comics, Star Trek: Year Five, from IDW Publishing. This was the first time that Greg had worked on the Star Trek franchise. Greg passed on October 31, 2024, at the age of 85.
