The ultra-rare Funny Pages #4 features the inclusion of Paul Gustavson’s The Arrow, who'd serve as the blueprint for all superhero archers to come. Jack Cole’s charming World's Fair cover art has kept this classic issue in demand for fans of Golden Age humor, as well. The Arrow would later become the proper star of Funny Pages, which started as one of many superhero anthology titles released at the start of the Golden Age. Scrappy publisher Centaur Comics, however, would develop its own cult of serious collectors, with Funny Pages sought out as the birthplace of several interesting and popular characters of the era.
