On his way home from dinner at Aunt May's, the wondrous wall-crawler intercepts the cosmic-powered herald near the East River! However the web-slinger quickly realizes that he needs help from the Avengers or the Fantastic Four! Unable to locate either super team, the wall-crawler thinks about escaping Firelord by simply changing into his civilian clothes! But that course of action would be shirking his responsibility! So it's up to one hero to stop Firelord: the Amazing Spider-Man!

Ron Frenz is an American comics artist known for his work for Marvel Comics; The Amazing Spider-Man, particularly introducing the hero’s famous black costume and later his work on Spider-Girl whom he co-created with writer Tom DeFalco. Frenz and DeFalco had also co-created the New Warriors in the pages of Thor.
Josef "Joe" Rubinstein is a comic book artist and inker, most associated with inking Marvel Comics' The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and the 1982 four-issue Wolverine miniseries by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. He is also known to be the one to have given artist Art Adams his first professional work.
