Johny Craig was the foremost cover maestro for EC and this issue, #16, is adorned by one of his more subtle creep fests, but it is the truly engaging Good Girl Art on this cover that attracts one’s attention. This is an image that rivals some of the best GGA covers of the era, particularly when discussing the horror genre. There is a grisly crime feast on offer in this exquisite book, and the second-ever appearance of the Crypt Keeper to boot.
