Highest GradedDC decided to attempt to repeat the sales success of New Book of Comics #1 the previous year, making this one of the first annual publications in comics history. Again the massive issue had 100 pages, and again it was a crazy mix-em-up of funny pages and the formula worked, but comics were starting to turn towards a new trend after the introduction of Action Comics #1 got the superhero ball rolling, making this the second and last entry into the New Book of Comics’ short but significant run.Seeing as how this is the highest graded copy, 1 of 1, from the Mile High pedigree, boasting a QES certification, there is not much more to be said to convince those who are already contemplating bidding on this book that could nudge them over the line. Suffice to say, if one is in the market for this comic, this is the copy you want, because, after eighty-three years, it is not likely a better example will surface.
