Artists Information

Frank Giacoia (July 6, 1924 – February 4, 1988) was an American comics artist known primarily as an inker. He sometimes worked under the name Frank Ray, Giacoia made the rounds to almost every Golden Age publisher, notably working on Flash and Batman stories, he also worked at Timely during this period. In the Silver Age Frank worked on many Jack Kirby pages, particularly in Captain America, and he also notably inked the first appearance of the Punisher in AMS #129.

Moore majored in Cartooning, receiving special notices and awards in excellence, and, shortly after graduating, he embarked on a professional career at DC Comics. It was soon after this that William uprooted the family, moving everyone to Southern California. Moore continued to freelance for various comic book companies. Moore is best known for his cover designs for DC Comics' Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation titles, as well as for Malibu Comics' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Innovation Comics' Lost In Space.

Ed Hannigan is an American comics artist, writer, and editor for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Worked on titles The Defenders and Cloak and Dagger.

Klaus Janson is a German-born American comics artist, working regularly for Marvel Comics and DC Comics and sporadically for independent companies. While he is best known as an inker, Janson has frequently worked as a penciler and colorist. Janson began working for DC Comics in the early 1980s and inked Gene Colan's pencils on Detective Comics and Jemm, Son of Saturn. Janson was one of the artists on Superman #400 (Oct. 1984) and was one of the contributors to the DC Challenge limited series. His collaboration with Miller on Daredevil would soon be eclipsed by a second collaboration between them, on Batman: The Dark Knight Returns in 1986. Janson inked the early issues of The Sensational Spider-Man which had been written and penciled by Dan Jurgens. Janson's work as an inker and occasional penciler at Marvel Comics includes collaborations with John Romita Jr. on Wolverine, The Amazing Spider-Man and Black Panther.
